When you use that phrase, Disney World packages, you have to be specific; because there are more affordable Walt Disney World vacation packages than you can shake a stick at! Now, no matter what sort of Disney World packages you look at, there are several important tips to keep in mind. Number one, check the Disney World tickets that come with the package. Do you know how many different kinds of Disney tickets there are? Over sixty-two! So, check and see what sorts of tickets the Disney World packages you are considering have. A one-day Magic Kingdom ticket is a far cry from a 4-Day Park Hopper Pass.
Next, look over the hotel accommodations that the Disney World packages have. On the grounds of the Disney Resort, there are a plethora of fine hotels. Yet, some Disney World packages do not include a hotel room on the property; you'll be staying in a hotel off-site. If you load up on a really good breakfast, this can make your theme park visit even more economical.
If you don't mind taking a shuttle ride, the cheaper and more economical Disney World packages involve hotels that are farther from the parks.
Some Disney World packages are especially cheap because they put you up in a timeshare. Of course, that means you have to sit through their sales pitch, which can be tiresome and tedious. If you're genuinely interested in buying one, that's one thing. If not, you may want to pass on these sorts of Disney World packages. On the other hand, if you can resist the strong-arm sales pitches of these timeshare realtors, their resorts can be a great place to stay. They tend to be newer, cleaner, and their amenities are incredible. Some have their own water parks, free breakfast buffets, nightly entertainment, and so on. As a result, staying at one of these timeshares can be very economical, in the long run. You say quite a bit in expenses like food. Here again, check to be sure they have a shuttle to Walt Disney World or can arrange to connect you with a car rental agency.
At first blush, some Disney World packages can seem incredibly cheap and affordable. But, as the saying goes: the Devil is in the details. Always check the fine print on every one of these Disney World packages. Some have substantial delivery fees or hidden fees that they tack on after you've bought the package. So, some of these Disney World packages can easily go from seeming to be affordable to outrageously expensive.
Next, there's flexibility. Once you get into the parks, you may find some things that you want to do that weren't included in the original Disney World package. Do you want to take the kids to dine with Mickey and the gang? Want to take the wife to a luau? This can run into some major money. So, ask what's involved in adding things to the Disney World packages you're considering.
Finally, there is the issue of cancellation. Some Disney World packages have a small cancellation fee, sometimes less than fifty dollars. Yet, this is an important thing to check on. Also, some Disney World packages will even include a waiver of that fee if you rebook your trip for a later time.
